Copyright and Image Usage Policy

Ownership, client personal-use license, portfolio rights, vendor use, commercial use, raw files, social media sharing, and restrictions.

Last updated: 2 May 2026

This policy governs copyright, moral rights, portfolio usage, client license, vendor usage, commercial usage, social-media sharing, raw files, AI use, and unauthorised exploitation of creative work produced by RaySeven Productions PVT LTD under the WedHues brand.

1. Ownership

Unless expressly assigned in a separate written agreement signed by us, all copyrights, neighbouring rights, creative rights, editing rights, composition rights, album layout rights, film-edit rights, brand rights, website content, and intellectual property in the work remain owned by or licensed to RaySeven Productions PVT LTD. Payment for services does not automatically transfer copyright.

2. Client personal-use license

After full payment, the Client receives a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use license to download, store, print for personal/family use, and share delivered final images/videos for non-commercial personal purposes. This license applies only to final delivered files, not raw files, project files, rejected shots, or internal working material.

3. Restrictions

The Client, guests, vendors, venues, planners, decorators, makeup artists, designers, brands, agencies, and third parties must not sell, license, publish commercially, submit to paid campaigns, use in advertising, remove credits/watermarks, alter substantially, create merchandise, train AI models, scrape, bulk download, enter awards, give to magazines, or use the work for business promotion without written permission from us.

4. Social media sharing

Clients may share delivered final files on personal social media in a respectful manner. Where practical, credit should be given to WedHues. Filters, heavy edits, cropping that damages the work, misleading captions, or vendor reposts without permission are not allowed.

5. Vendor use

Wedding vendors do not receive automatic rights merely because they contributed to the event. Vendors must request permission before using our work. Approved vendor use may require credit, limited format, no paid ads, no cropping, no watermark removal, no misleading claims, and no transfer to other parties.

6. Portfolio rights

We may use selected work for our website, portfolio, social media, YouTube, ads, awards, brochures, sample albums, sales presentations, training, and brand promotion only according to the Client’s portfolio release/consent status or written approval. Private/non-publication restrictions must be agreed before booking confirmation and may affect pricing and operational instructions.

7. Raw files and project files

Raw files, unedited footage, camera originals, project files, LUTs, presets, timelines, audio stems, music licenses, rejected shots, and internal working files are not part of the standard client license. If raw files are separately sold, they are supplied as-is for personal archival use unless the written agreement states otherwise.

8. AI, scraping, and automated use

No person may use our images, films, website content, gallery files, contracts, workflows, or visual style for AI training, dataset creation, face recognition, automated extraction, reverse engineering, cloning, deepfake creation, or derivative commercial systems without written permission.

9. Takedown and misuse

We may demand takedown, correction, credit, payment, license fee, damages, indemnity, or legal remedy for unauthorised use. The Client agrees to cooperate if misuse occurs through family members, vendors, planners, venues, or parties who received files from the Client.

10. Commercial licensing

Commercial usage can be licensed separately for venues, designers, brands, publications, advertising campaigns, wedding planners, decorators, hospitality partners, or other commercial parties. Fees depend on scope, term, geography, media, exclusivity, and usage type.
