Destination Wedding Photography — From Palaces to Beaches
Your venue is extraordinary. Your photographs should be too.
When you choose a destination wedding, you are choosing to celebrate your love in a setting that takes everyone's breath away. From the golden sandstone palaces of Rajasthan to the turquoise shorelines of Goa and the misty hill stations of Uttarakhand, a destination wedding is an experience unlike any other. And it deserves a photography team that can match its grandeur.
WedHues is one of India's most sought-after destination wedding photography teams. Based in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, we travel across the country and internationally to document weddings in the most spectacular venues imaginable. Our portfolio spans royal palace weddings in Udaipur, beachside ceremonies in Kerala, fort weddings in Jodhpur, jungle resort celebrations in Jim Corbett, and luxury hotel events in Goa, Jaipur, and beyond.
What makes destination wedding photography challenging is also what makes it thrilling: unpredictable light, sprawling venues, outdoor ceremonies at varying times of day, and the need to capture both the intimacy of the couple and the scale of the setting. Our team thrives in these conditions. We arrive a day early to scout every ceremony location, plan our angles, and test our lighting setups. This preparation means we are never caught off guard on the day of the wedding.
Our destination wedding coverage is comprehensive. We document the welcome dinner, mehendi, haldi, sangeet, the main ceremonies, and the reception with a team of 3-5 photographers and cinematographers. We capture the architecture, the decor, the landscape, and most importantly, the human connections that make your celebration unique.
For couples planning destination weddings, the logistics can feel overwhelming. We make the photography side effortless. We coordinate directly with your wedding planner and venue, handle all our travel and equipment logistics, and carry full backup gear so nothing is left to chance. Our job is to capture your celebration flawlessly while you focus on enjoying every moment.
With over 50 destination weddings documented across India and abroad, WedHues brings the experience, the equipment, and the creative vision to do justice to the most extraordinary venues and the most meaningful celebrations.

Frequently Asked Questions About Destination Wedding Photography
Which destination wedding locations in India do you cover?
We cover destination weddings across all of India. Our most popular destinations include Udaipur (City Palace, Oberoi Udaivilas, Jagmandir), Jaipur (Samode Palace, Fairmont, Rambagh Palace), Goa (beach weddings and five-star resorts), Jodhpur (Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort), Jim Corbett, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Kerala backwaters, and Andaman Islands. We also cover international destination weddings in Thailand, Bali, Dubai, Turkey, and Europe.
How far in advance should we book for a destination wedding?
We recommend booking at least 3-4 months in advance for domestic destination weddings and 5-6 months for international ones. Peak wedding season (October to February) dates get booked quickly, and early booking also gives us time for a detailed recce, travel planning, and pre-production coordination with your wedding planner and venue.
What is included in the travel and accommodation for your team?
For domestic destination weddings, our packages include travel, accommodation, and meals for the crew as part of the overall quote. We handle all logistics on our end. For international destinations, travel and visa costs are quoted separately after discussing the specifics. We always travel with backup equipment and ensure our crew arrives a day early for venue scouting and light testing.
How do you handle varying light conditions at outdoor destination venues?
Our team carries a comprehensive lighting kit including portable LED panels, off-camera flashes with modifiers, and reflectors. We are experienced with the harsh midday sun of Rajasthani palaces, the low ambient light of evening beach ceremonies, and everything in between. We also conduct a pre-wedding venue walkthrough to plan our lighting setups for every event and ceremony location.
Can we do a pre-wedding shoot at our destination wedding venue?
Absolutely. Many of our couples add a pre-wedding or couple portrait session at the destination venue a day before the wedding. It is a wonderful way to capture the location in a relaxed setting. We often use the golden hour before sunset for these sessions, creating images that showcase both your connection and the beauty of the venue.
